Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions for Domestic

A) Quotation

  1. All quotes are excluding VAT at 20%
  2. All quotes are valid for 3 months
  3. Deposit paid is acceptance of the terms and conditions set out
  4. Once the quote has been accepted, we require a deposit (see below for amount)
  5. From receipt of deposit, works generally take 4 to 6 weeks to complete (depending on weather for exterior work).
  6. We will forward a schedule of dates for the work from start date to installation date and estimated completion date
  7. If these dates change, we will notify you of changes by way of email, phone call.

B) Deposit

The amount of deposit required will solely depend on the size of the project; there are three categories your work will fall into.

  1. A, works costing from 100 up to the price of 5000 excluding VAT at 20%, The deposit required is 50% + the vat on this sum. For an example, work costing 1000 will need a deposit of, 500+Vat = 587.50p
  2. B, works costing from 5001 up to the price of 15000 excluding VAT at 20% The deposit required is 35% + vat, with a further 35% + vat one week before installation date. The final 30% + vat will be due on completion of works.
  3. C, works costing from 15001 and greater excluding VAT at 20% The deposit required will be 35% + vat with the interim payments to be confirmed and agreed.

Please note, if required, payments can be rounded up to the nearest figure for deposit only

C) Receipt

  1. The invoice we send you should be kept for at least the duration of the work. This is your proof of payment and VAT at 20%. The receipt will show payment made and/ or due on particular dates. If requested, we can send extra copies.
  2. It is in the interest of both parties to comply with the payment structure so that the project runs smoothly and efficiently, as late payments will set back the project and have to be re-scheduled with other current works which will add time to the completion date. We cannot be held responsible for missed dates if payment is late.

D) Guarantees

Once the works have started, we can give you an update every Friday if requested, by Email, phone call, this ensures that you as the client are informed of progress on a week to week basis. For large projects, we can forward (by email) digital photos of your work in progress as construction nears completion. On your receipt will be a contact name that can arrange this for you All work is Guaranteed for 12 months against defects (Does not include paint finish)

E) Summary

Terms & Conditions for Trade

A) Quotation

  1. All quotes are excluding VAT at 20%
  2. All quotes are valid for 3 months

B) Account

  1. New business will need to apply for account. Any works to be done without an account will be subject to deposit and full payment on delivery. To apply for an account, please contact us for an application form.
  2. Accounts can take up to 14 days to be confirmed, depending on information supplied
  3. On successfully opening an account, terms are strictly 30 days from date of invoice. Failure to pay can result in charges of 8% interest being added per day
  4. Larger works can be divided into Phases, where invoiced amounts are to be agreed at set intervals. This will be agreed prior to any works being started. A statement of amounts & phases will be issued for confirmation.
  5. A sample of "phased" works is as follows,

    • Phase 1: Buying and storing all materials in connection with project, the cost for all administration, schedule of dates for works to begin, site surveys to gather information for workshop drawings & setting out dimensions
    • Phase 2: Delivery to site of all materials (including any minor installation, TBC on project and agreed)
    • Phase 3: Installation of works required (site installation can be phased at intervals to be agreed if works duration is more than 1 week)
    • Phase 4 onwards to be agreed if required depending on length of work.
  6. All invoiced work to have a purchase order number and to be signed off after phase is completed or delivered.

C) Receipt
